Hey ya’ll! Katie here updating you all on what my life has been like lately! I’ve been living in Cincinnati for the last 9 months. My job has been good, my new gym has been amazing and I’ve been able to make a lot new friends. However, I still have a lot going on with friends and family back in Cleveland. About every other weekend for the past two months I’ve been traveling back home for various family events and stuff going on with my friends. Fortunately last weekend while I was home Candice and I were able to get together! Can you believe we haven’t seen each other since December?! It was so great getting to catch up, work on the blog, cook together and even hit up a local farmer’s market!
On Sunday, I got to go on my first motorcycle ride! My boyfriend took us out on a ride for a few hours. We got to stop at a few different places along the way and really enjoy the great weather we had! He also got me flowers just because 🙂
On Monday, I was able to get into a CrossFit box and do “Murph” to honor those that have given their lives for us to have our freedom.
The rest of my week has been a blur! I’ve been coaching at my box a lot this week as well as trying to keep up with my training. I meal prepped as much as I could but between my real job and the box, I haven’t had much time at home! Which in turn leads to simple and easy meals! Some examples were salmon I had just picked up from the store with a banana and coconut butter (my new obsession!) while another night was 3 scrambled eggs and apple, onion cabbage from Stupid Easy Paleo! Oh, and tea from my new favorite mug 🙂
This weekend doesn’t slow down either! I’m planning on going to my first Red’s game of the summer, hanging out at the gym, going to a BBQ , getting stuff done around the apartment and meal prepping for next week!
